If a picture is worth a thousand words, then staying at Nannette’s awe-inspiring bungalow at the Osa is priceless Nannette’s property is a beautifully curated living piece of art. The moment you enter through the crafted metal gate bearing the tree of life, you are transported into quite the enchanted experience — seamlessly blending the comforts of home, the luxury provided by a high-end resort, and the personal attention offered when staying with a dear friend.

The Location: Nestled just above Pan Dulce, the property provides easy access to the surf breaks at Pan Dulce, Backwash, and Matapalo.

The Space: Styled and finished with graceful Balinese touches, the 2BR Bungalow offers an elegant and serene indoor/outdoor living space delicately framed by bougainvillea trellises. Each bedroom is provided with extremely comfortable queen mattresses, ample shelving and hanging space to store your belongings, and a picturesque garden view. Added bonus of an outdoor BBQ grill!

The Kitchen: Most impressive indeed! Wonderfully stocked with necessities such as coffee, tea, selection of sweeteners, olive oil, Asian condiments, and more! For those aspiring home chefs, the Bungalow boasts a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with high quality appliances and accessories. Plus an 18-cup Bialetti Moka Pot available for use with lots of coffee for your stay!

Welcome Drinks: Cold water, chilled beer, and a bottle of rosé await in the fridge!

Beach towels, blanket, & beach bags are provided. Beautiful flower arrangements in each room with the sweet fragrance of white jasmine everywhere you turn. Music lovers will enjoy using the JBL 4 chargeable speaker. Mats for yoga lovers. Flashlights for your nighttime stroll or midnight bathroom breaks. Hot water, shampoo/conditioner plus bathrobes and soft towels to relax after a day in the jungle.

The Staff: Warm, caring, attentive, and kind Adrian, Henry, Jose, and Suzanna frequently checked in to ensure all is well with our stay. Bilingual and extremely patient with letting me practice Spanish

Very Pet Friendly: We travelled with our two dogs who were warmly welcomed by Nannette and her staff. Such the gracious host, she spent ample time when we arrived to socialize our fur babies with her own 3 dogs—ensuring a comfortable and peaceful stay for both pets and owners! Our doggies simply loved Nannette—she treated ours as she would her own. For that we are ever so grateful!

Our Super hostess: Nannette’s sense of hospitality is beyond compare which is evident in the thoughtful details provided for in the Bungalow (we did not want for anything). At the time of booking, she helped us prepare for our travel plans including providing various options for my in-laws for PCR tests to ensure re-entry to Canada. At the time of our arrival, she remained very flexible considering our delayed arrival—she welcomed us with a great big smile with her dog Kooma in tow to ensure proper socialization with our dogs. It’s in these little details that truly make the vacation experience memorable! She is a rare gem who goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and unforgettable stay. Words cannot express the experience of staying with Nannette. It’s as if you’re being welcomed home by a dear friend.

Stop your search and book this place. You won't regret it. The photos online are good, but don't do this place justice. It is fantastic. The bungalow not only looks amazing but it has everything you need and more. The property is beautifully maintained and landscaped. It is surrounded by trees and nature and feels like you're completely alone. Without leaving the property we saw monkeys, toucans and macaws. We also had great access to the rest of the Osa, including Corcavado and surfing. And Nannette is one in a million. We've stayed in Airbnb's all over the world and have had some great hosts over the years, but we have never come across a host like Nannette—so kind, attentive, friendly and happy. It was like having a long lost friend right there. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Next time we will.

Nannette's place is an oasis in paradise—no kidding. If you love the Osa, consider a stay here. The house is beautiful, equipped with a wonderful kitchen with everything you need, a wonderful outdoor, covered living and dining space in addition to the in-door dining room, and a beautiful setting with flowers and wildlife everywhere. Nanette communicated quickly and efficiently, and her on-site manager Adrian welcomed us even with a late arrival after dark. They took great care of us, offered suggestions for places to explore, and were wonderful hosts. We will definitely return, and recommend this spot highly!

Absolute heaven staying here with monkeys in the trees in your backyard, scarlet macaws, toucans and green parrots, waking every day to howler monkeys! Beautiful, immaculate property with amazing attention to detail and comfort. Great location to visit Corcovado National Park and the Golfo Dulce!
